Poncho... ...the Jack Russell Terrier and very knowledgeable Real Estate Dog was born August 24, 1994 on Long Island in the Town of Northport, he traces his heritage back to Ireland and the famous breeder Parson Jack Russell for whom the breed is named after. His mother and father were actors, both appearing in various television commercials and print ads nationally. So, Poncho was born in trunk, as they say. His parents will be remembered for the beautiful Ralph Lauren Ads and commercials for the perfume, Sahara (Isabella Rossellini appeared with them). Poncho at an early age decided that show business, the lights, cameras, directors, lighting and make-up people were not to his liking, Real Estate, he thought was where his strength would be. After a very successful career, his parents decided to break up, Mom joined an act in Las Vegas and is wowing them in the clubs still. Dad chose to live the life as a Stud dog, found the pace too much, took up with a French Poodle, went to Los Angeles and hasn’t been heard from recently. Adopted by Norma Reynolds and Robert Verdi at the age of seven weeks, he began his career early. Raised at the Norma Reynolds office at the feet of Robert, in the advertising department, greeting clients both new and old, he developed a keen eye for choice real estate. Within a year he developed PONCHO’S PICKS and has a regular position on the Norma Reynolds website. With the real estate market booming, Poncho has been very busy, giving up those long afternoon naps for seeing new property and accompanying Robert on the many photo shoots of the houses, seems he was born to it. And, Poncho wouldn’t have it any other way…
